Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the name for a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties, and they become inflamed and narrowed, the airways clogged with mucus which makes it so difficult to move air in and out of the lungs.

Obstructive: your airways are narrowed, so it’s harder to breathe out quickly and air gets trapped in your chest
